I saw it in Machado's poetry, recently in his great “Poema de un día”.<br /><br />It is a long poem where he writes about a rainy day at home reading and looking through old papers, until evening when he decides to go to the "botica":<br /><br />¿Todo es<br />soledad de soledades,<br />vanidad de vanidades,<br />que dijo el Eclesiastés?<br />Mi paraguas, mi sombrero,<br />mi gabán... El aguacero<br />amaina... Vámonos, pues.<br /><br />Es de noche.
