This flag was sent to us, together with five other ones, from the store-room of the Memento Park (or the “park of Communist statues” as it is better known abroad), with the request to translate their Russian (and in one case, Ukrainian) inscriptions, and if possible, help to describe them. Here we publish the photos and inscriptions of all six flags, and we ask everyone who, either by past experiences or by personal interest, is familiar with the Communist vexillology of Byzantine complexity, to share his or her knowledge with us and with the Memento Park.
