Last night the demons tempted Saint Anthony in vain in all the towns of Mallorca, but the holy hermit remained faithful to his oath. The enraged demons, meeting at the gate of Palma, paraded with fiery wagons through the city, before disappearing into the harbor. Next year they will try harder.
