Doorbells / Timbres

To unique courtyards, unique doorbells. The domofons below were photographed by Ksusha Maevsky in Lwów. Except the last one, which was also found on a blog of Lwów, but cannot remember where. Its relative coarseness even clashes with the careful elaboration of the other images, nevertheless we did not want to omit it, as its plebeian vitality well characterizes the reality of the multi-family kommunalki established after 1917 in former bourgeois flats, the world which called them to life.

Salvo el último, que también sacamos de un blog de Lwów pero no recordamos dónde. Su tosquedad contrasta con la cuidadosa elaboración de las otras imágenes pero no queríamos omitirlo porque su vulgar vitalidad caracteriza bien la realidad de las kommunalki multifamiliares establecidas después de 1917 en antiguos pisos burgueses, el mundo que los hizo existir.
