Noruz, green grass grower / Novruz, göy otları göyərdən

Walking in the city center of Baku, for days I have been returning to the academic bookshop to browse through again and again Çingiz Fərzəliyev's gorgeous album Azərbaycan Rəngkarlığı, that is The painting of Azerbaijan which I cannot even hope to buy, as Baku has become one of the most expensive cities in the world since the recent oil boom. This unknown painting, whose roots go back to the Persian court art, has totally fascinated me with its bright colors, mysterious compositions, the particular combination of naivete and sophistication, and with the way the world of the Persian miniatures continuously shines through the great European styles.

Bakının şəhər mərkəzində gəzərkən neçə gündür Çingiz Fərzəliyevin satın almağa ümid belə etmədiyim möhtəşəm “Azərbaycan Rəngkarlığı” albomunu dönə-dönə vərəqləmək üçün elə hey akademik kitab mağazasına qayıtmışam, axı yeni neft bumundan sonra Bakı dünyanın ən bahalı şəhərlərindən biri olub. Kökləri İran saray incəsənətinə gedən bu naməlum rəngkarlıq öz parlaq rəngləri, sirli kompozisiyaları, sadəlik və zənginliyin özünəməxsus birləşməsi, böyük avropa üslubları arasından İran miniatürləri dünyasının davamlı olaraq nur saçdığı o xüsusiyyəti ilə məni tamamilə heyran etmişdi.

In the core of the old city, the 15th-century Shirvanshah Palace a spring-greeting children's drawing exhibition has been opened on the occasion of Noruz. The age of the artists is between six and thirteen. Although it is obvious that these children go to a special art class, it is fascinating how much they have already mastered the magical colors and compositions of this particular painting. Fərzəliyev and his successors will have no difficulty if after ten or twenty years they want to continue the album with contemporary artists.

Köhnə şəhərin özəyində, 15-ci əsrə aid Şirvanşahlar Sarayında Novruz münasibəti ilə baharı salamlayan uşaq rəsm sərgisi açılmışdı. Rəssamların yaşı altı ilə on üç arasındadır. Bu uşaqların xüsusi incəsənət dərslərinə getməsi aydn olsa da, bu özünəməxsus rəngkarlıq sənətinin sehrli rəng və kompozisiyalarını artıq bu qədər ustalıqla işlətmələri adamı heyran edir. Fərzliyev və ondan sonra gələnlər on və ya iyirmi il sonra albomu müasir rəssamlarla davam etdirmək istəsələr, heç bir çətinlik çəkməyəcəklər.
